How to Use WebRename?
Click to upload files, or you can quickly load files by dragging files or folders onto the page. Switch to different renaming tabs, fill in the settings as needed, click 'Preview' to see the current configuration's renaming effect, and click 'Apply' to complete the renaming.
All tab tools can be used in combination. For example, you can use the replace tool to batch replace filenames, then use the truncate tool to extract a specified part of the filename, and then use the case tool to batch convert filenames to lowercase.
Will file data leak?
WebRename is a browser-based tool that primarily utilizes modern browser's file-related APIs to read and process files. Therefore, data is processed only in your browser and will not be uploaded to web servers. Your file data will absolutely not be transferred or stored, so you don't need to worry about data leakage. Please use it with confidence.
Why can't WebRename work properly?
WebRename has browser version requirements; older browser versions may cause the tool to not function properly. It is recommended to use the latest versions of Chrome or Edge browsers to use this tool.
How large files can WebRename rename?
WebRename does not limit the file size and is also well-suited for renaming large files. Even files of several hundred megabytes can be easily renamed.
How many files does WebRename support for renaming?
WebRename currently does not limit the number of files you can rename at once and supports batch renaming of any number of files. File quantity limits for free users may be adjusted as needed in the future.
What types of files does WebRename support for renaming?
WebRename has no restrictions on file types and supports files with any file extension.
